For the
record Matchroom won, but the result wasn't important, the enjoyment of
the Juniors was paramount and a good time was had by all.
The Derby junior group, organised by Roger Stevenson-Revill has been providing playing and coaching opportunities for local cueists for twelve years now and is recognised as one of the premier Junior clubs in England.

Matchroom Juniors' coaching and tournaments fall under the watchful eye of Welsh Foundation Coach Wayne Griffiths.
Terry Griffiths was on hand to make the presentations and join in the group photographs.
Amongst the Derby group was eight year old Hannah Jones, daughter of former Welsh professional Nick Jones. Hannah's ambition is to become the Welsh Ladies champion in due course.

Matchroom
were delighted to welcome a group from the Derby Riley's Cue Ball Club.
Ranging in age from eight to seventeen and in ability from beginner to
regular tournament players, the Derby lads and lasses were matched against
the Matchroom Juniors with two sessions on matches on Saturday and Sunday.
