GENERAL INFORMATION
BYE LAWS
Emergency Exit: No customer may enter or leave by the back door. It is an Emergency Exit ONLY.
Breach of Rules: Membership may be suspended at any time. A ban/suspension will be communicated in writing and may occur where there has been:
The management’s decision will be final. Any serious matters WILL be reported to the police. Three separate suspensions will incur a life ban.
Opening /Closing Times: Monday - Friday 12:00 – 23:00 Saturday/Sunday 10:00 – 22:30
Last Frames:
Last frames are called 30 minutes before the club closes. Customers may finish the frame they are playing, but may not start another game once last frames have been called.
Any member of staff can ask a member to leave the Club at anytime if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate. This is at the member of staff’s own discretion.
There is now a junior curfew in effect (see below).
Any member (including Junior members) refusing to leave the Club when asked will automatically receive a minimum suspension of 1 month. This suspension maybe increased.
Three separate suspensions will lead to a life ban from The Terry Griffiths Matchroom. A life ban may be issued against a first offence if the offence is deemed serious enough.
Management’s decisions regarding the above will be final.
Junior Curfew
As a result of an incident resulting in criminal damage on Friday 27th August, the junior curfew will now be extended to include every night of the week.
From Monday 30th August all Junior members (any member, 18 years old or under, with or without their OWN membership card) who are not accompanied by an adult outlined on their family membership form, will be asked to vacate the premises by 7 p.m. unless they are playing snooker (not pool). Max. no. of players for snooker is 4 persons per table. When you have finished playing snooker you will be asked to leave the Club within a reasonable period of time (staff discretion).
At the staff’s discretion this curfew may also be enforced on members over 18 years of age if their behaviour is deemed to be inappropriate. Any member refusing to leave the club at any time when asked will face an automatic suspension of 1 month (minimum).
Staff have now been asked to ensure that any member acting inappropriately, and causing disturbance to other members, is asked to leave the Club immediately.
If the behaviour of our Junior members does not improve as a result of this new rule, it will be the management’s intention to extend the curfew beyond the hours in which it currently operates. If on the other hand we see a marked improvement as a result of this new ruling, then parts of the curfew may be lifted.
