May I take this opportunity of welcoming you to Pontin's Prestatyn Sands and the

35th Spring Open Snooker Festival.

There is a feast of snooker this week, with practically every age range catered for and I am certain that

you will enjoy every second.

A special thanks to Cliff Sandall and his team here at Prestatyn and of course to

John Williams, Haydn Parry and all of the officials, without whom none of this would be possible.

Finally, please respect the few rules that are in place: no food, drinks or mobile phones in the Snooker Centre,

no coaching from the sidelines.

All matches up to the last sixteen will be best of FIVE FRAMES and thereafter they will be best of SEVEN FRAMES up to the FINAL which will be best of NINE FRAMES. Open to all players, no age restrictions.
