and welcome to the Global Cue Sports Centre coverage of the IBSF
World Snooker Championships.
We will
be building up all the information, schedules, travel information,
draws, photos, player names, over the coming weeks.
This
fabulous event comprises:

The 2007 SANGSOM IBSF World Snooker Championships
(Ladies, Masters & Men) will take place in KORAT – THAILAND from
10th (Opening Ceremony) to the 25th (Closing Ceremony) November.

INFORMATION
IBSF INVITATION
On behalf of the IBSF Board of Directors and the
Billiard Sports Association of Thailand (BSAT), I have pleasure in
inviting you to send your players to take part in the IBSF World
Snooker Championships (Ladies, Men’s & Masters).
I enclose entry form (please copy as required ) for a maximum entry
of Two (2) players for the men’s, Two (2) players for the ladies,
Two (2) players for the masters, from each financial member country.
Closing date for entries is the 5th of October 2007.Late entries
will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
An entry fee of 50.00 US$ per player must be paid to the Host
Association on the first day of the championships.
To benefit from the discount on room rates for players, you must
return the player profiles accompanied by a passport size photo
(preferably by email in .jpg).
The Billiard Sports Association of Thailand (BSAT) needs to have
your hotel reservation the latest four (4) weeks before the
tournament. Don’t forget to send them your flight details if you
wish to be picked up from the airport.
NB: Entries are made by the
National Governing Bodies, NOT by individual players. Check with
your NGB to see if you are eligible to compete in one of the
Championships.

20 International referees from Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania will
be invited according to the IBSF

Breakfast and one extra meal allowance to be offered to all
International Invited Referees.
No allowances will be payable to any other officials, delegates or
players.

DRESS CODE
Please advice your players that the dress code will be strictly
adhered to. All players must wear a waistcoat whilst playing.
This includes lady players. Lady players must wear
a blouse that is worn in or over the pants. No short shirts or
blouses are accepted. Please find the full text below:
• Evening dress or dark-suit together with waist-coat shall be worn
in all sessions of the matches.
Long-sleeve shirts buttoned at the wrist, waistcoats and bow-ties,
shall be worn for all matches, save when the venue conditions are
hot and humid, and, in which case, certain relaxation to dress-code
requirements may be decided thereupon by the Championship Committee.
• Players will be allowed to wear a sponsor’s logo on the waistcoat
with a maximum size of 100 mm x 40mm or 80 mm in diameter. The Host
NSA will inform players if their logos may be worn during any
televised stages of the Championship and that players wear them
belonging to the Host NSA’s sponsor(s) at no cost to the players.
• The Host NSA will decide the appropriate dress-code for any
official functions.
• Failure to comply with the prescribed dress-code may result in the
forfeiture of the match by the players in default.
VISAS
Visas are required by many countries, please check.
