RATES
Single Room incl. breakfast 70.00US$ per room/night.
Double Room incl. breakfast 80.00 US$ per room/night.
Triple room incl. Breakfast 95.00 US$ per room/night.

All hotel bookings must be made direct with the Jordanian Federation for Billiard Sport and accommodation paid to the hotel as required.

The hotel requires a deposit either by credit card or an advance payment for part of the rooms.

The entry fee is US$ 45 per player.

ARRIVAL & CONNECTIONS
Arrival details should be sent to the Jordanian Federation, who will arrange pick-ups from & to Amman International Airport free of charge.

SHUTTLE BUS
A shuttle bus will be running between the hotel and venue free of charge.

FLIGHTS
A 25% discount on monthly air tickets on the Royal Jordanian airlines has been negotiated by the Jordan Federation for Billiard & Snooker. Details on how to get the discount will be available shortly and sent to the members accordingly. www.rja.com

VISAS
Visas are required by many countries, please check www.visitjordan.com/visitjordan_cms/

The cost of one entry visa for all nationalities is JD 10 (around $14) for all nationalities and for multiple entries it is JD 20 (around $28). Groups of five persons or more arriving through a designated Jordanian tour operator are exempted from all visa charges.
Departure taxes for non Jordanians are 5JD , around $7, from any border. It is recommended that you check with the Jordanian diplomatic mission in your country prior to travel to ensure that you have all the necessary paperwork for travel.

FOOD
A good meal can be secured for 4 US$,- to 10 US$

WEATHER
Weather sunny with temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celcius, but please check with your TV weather programme.

CURRENCY
All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops. Currency rate: 1 USD = 0.709 Jordanian Dinar per 1 August 2006.

COUNTRY FLAGS
Member countries are asked to provide players with two (2) national flags which can be used for display purposes during the Championship. Countries not sending participants who wish to have their national flag displayed should send it to the Tournament Office address at the top of the page. Flags will be returned to the countries after the event by the Tournament director.

TV COVERAGE
Arrangements are being made with the Jordanian Satellite T.V. channel and frequency will be available soon to tune your channels. Matches will be broadcasted over the internet.

DRESS CODE
Please advice your players that the dress code will be strictly adhered to. All players must wear a waistcoat whilst playing. No short sleeved shirts are accepted. Please find the full text below:

10.1 Evening dress or dark-suit together with waistcoat shall be worn in all sessions of the matches. Long-sleeve shirts buttoned at the wrist, waistcoats and bow-ties, shall be worn for all matches, save when the venue conditions are hot and humid, and, in which case, certain relaxation to dress-code requirements may be decided thereupon by the Tournament Director.

10.2 Players will be allowed to wear a sponsor’s logo on the waistcoat with a maximum size of 100 mm x 40 mm or 80 mm in diameter. The Tournament Director will inform players if their logos may be worn during any televised stages of the Championship. Players may be asked to wear an event sponsor’s logo at no cost to the players.

10.3 The Tournament Director will decide the appropriate dress-code for any official functions.

10.4 Failure to comply with the prescribed dress-code may result in the forfeiture of the match by the players in default.

Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE)
If a players uses for medical reasons a prohibited substance(s) he should apply for a TUE through his /her national federation.
