Biography

Robert Murphy is one of the most experienced players to come out of Ireland. He made his international debut in 1992, aged just thirteen.

In 2002 he earned a place on the WSA Challenge Tour via the senior play offs in Pontins, but he did it the hard way, having to clinch a final frame decider.

A solid 2002-3 campaign took him up to 33 on the Challenge Tour rankings, only narrowly missing out on promotion to the Main Tour.
