Father of two,
Erlingsson has been playing snooker for more than twenty-five
years, having taken up the sport while still at school.
Of one his
treasured memories came when he was selected to represent
Iceland in the 1991 Mita World Masters, although he lost to
world top 16 star Dean Reynolds in his first match.
He first won the
Iceland championship in 1984, a performance which earned him a
trip to play in the IBSF World Championships in Singapore.
He repeated his
achievement in 2001.
As well as snooker
he enjoys chess and bridge, and when the Icelandic weather
permits, a round of golf. |
