2004 IBSF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - Kobkit Kops Top Spot                                     30 November 2004

Thailand's Kobkit Palajin, runner up in the IBSF World Under 21 Championship earlier this year, has gained Number One seeding for the knock out stage of the Men's Championship in Velthoven, after a flawless 10 out of 10 wins.

Malta's Alex Borg, runner up in the 2004 European Championships, has taken the second seeding. Borg dropped only 11 frames during his ten group matches and lost one match, to Thailand's Atthasit Mahitthi.

Iceland's Brynjar Valdimarsson came quietly and effectively through his group with nine from ten, losing only to Malaysia's rising talent, Moh Keen Ho.

European Champion Mark Allen takes fourth place, also with nine wins. He stormed through his matches posting nine centuries along the way.

England's Katie Henrick claimed top spot in the Ladies draw, with a 100% record. Reanne Evans will be the number two seed, having lost more frames and Kathy Parashis from Australia took third place, topping her group, helped by a hard fought win over European Champion Wendy Jans. Norway's Anita Rizzuti was top of her group and took the fourth seeding place.

It was Australian one and two in the Seniors, with Robby Foldvari and Glen Wilkinson inseparable after winning their groups. A toss of the coin gave number one seeding to Foldvari. New Zealand's Dene O'Kane lost one match, to Finland's Jyri Virtanen, in the group stages, but took third seeding with a better frame average than Welshman Ron Jones, who also lost just one match.
